1st Official Trailer (Dec 4, 2020)

Npixel revealed the game with its first official trailer on Dec 4, 2020, under the former working name Project S (Inven). MassivelyOP called it a "stunning space-time MMORPG"; its slides hinted at PC, mobile and consoles, and Cris Velasco was named as composer (MassivelyOP). Its story of a war against 12 gods has since been dropped. The history is on Development History.

Official Gameplay Trailer (May 3, 2023)

The "Official Gameplay Trailer (4K)" went online on May 3, 2023 and showed the game in motion for the first time: seasons, weather, combat and time manipulation, with a Cris Velasco score, for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S (RPGamer). From 2:20 a party fights a winged dragon in a meadow; at 2:37 a woman holds up a pocket-watch device, and the enemies around a fighter turn to frozen white shapes as time stops. Its description promises "six classes" and the power of "freezing time, rewinding events". It was an online release, not a Summer Game Fest reveal, and drew over 4.5 million combined views by the company's count (ZDNet Korea). The time device is on Chronotector.

State of Unreal GDC 2024 trailer (Mar 20, 2024)

A new trailer premiered during Epic's State of Unreal at GDC 2024 on Mar 20, 2024, the day Kakao Games was announced as publisher (RPG Site). It is a 93-second cinematic with no game interface: a crowned figure in a field of ash, the Chrono Studio and Kakao Games logos, armored knights in dark halls, and, in its last half minute, a horde of horned creatures, a lightning-wreathed figure with a halo and an end card reading "Wishlist now". MassivelyOP said it was "primarily focused on showcasing the visual grunt of Unreal Engine 5" (MassivelyOP).

Epic's GDC 2024 segment (Mar 2024)

Unreal Engine's channel posted the five-minute State of Unreal segment, "Chrono Odyssey by Chrono Studios", on Mar 30, 2024. A Chrono Studio presenter introduces the game on stage between slides; from 1:43 a slide reads "Shape your experience with data layers", and the Unreal editor then shows the same valley with a rider in daylight and again dark, ruined and smoking, before a slide reading "Create open worlds with World Partition". MassivelyOP reported that the talk showed time travel creating "different versions of the same landscapes", described a game made since 2021 by "over 120 developers", and announced the Epic Games Store (MassivelyOP).

The segment also gave the first look at character creation. A slide reads "Create your own unique hero", followed by close-ups of men and women with scars, painted faces, gray and pale skin and long hair. The creator is on Character Creation.

Closed Beta Announce Trailer (May 19, 2025)

The "Closed Beta Announce Trailer" of May 19, 2025 opened sign-ups for the beta (Steam). A 70-second cinematic, it begins with a voice saying "The Void... has consumed us all" and "Is this the end?", shows the Kakao Games and Chrono Studio logos, then giants walking through a forest and an army of the Void under a pale sky. It ends with "I shall return you to the past" and the card "Join the playtest on Steam, June 2025". Its description calls Setera a land "where space, time, and sanity come undone." Over 400,000 people had already signed up that day (MassivelyOP).

Developer Interview #1 (May 23, 2025)

The 20-minute "Developer Interview #1: Building a World Beyond Time" has executive producer Yun Sang-tae and Kakao Games product manager Don explain the world, the cosmic horror influences (Prometheus, StarCraft's Zerg, Chrono Trigger), combat built around weapon swapping, the content of the beta and the plan to gather feedback (Steam). It is the longest official explanation of the game's design. What it says about the studio is on Chrono Studio.

Summer Game Fest Trailer (Jun 6, 2025)

The Summer Game Fest Trailer premiered during Summer Game Fest on Jun 6, 2025 and dated the closed beta (MassivelyOP). Between title cards reading "When the Void calls", "Heroes must rise", "Join the Sentinels", "Wield the power of gods" and "Defy time & space", it shows combat with spell effects, a giant eye and a robed figure under a halo. The narration closes: "Some say time stops for no one... Yet what then of those who dare to turn back the hands of fate?" and "Return to the past where your journey awaits", over the card "Join the playtest on Steam, June 20th to 22nd, 2025". Executive producer Yun Sang-tae called it "a narrative invitation to players", and Kakao Games announced the same day that sign-ups had passed 1 million (Kakao Games). The beta is on Closed Beta.

Gameplay Walkthrough (Jun 12, 2025)

The 18-minute "Gameplay Walkthrough" of Jun 12, 2025 is the longest official look at play, narrated in English over captured footage. It opens: "Chrono Odyssey is an open world MMO that transcends the bounds of space and time", then shows party dungeons whose bosses must be beaten through "party synergy and quick wit". Its chapters cover dungeons, world quests, Time Portals, field bosses, Void Nexus purges, region bosses, Labyrinths, Bounty Hunting, PvP zones, dynamic events, Trials, life skills, the Chronotector, Chrono Gates and Eden. The Steam post warned that it shows "content that may not be included in the Closed Beta, including unreleased features planned for the full release" (Steam). The activities are on Dungeons and Raids and Bosses.

Short videos (June 2025)

From Jun 8 to 18, 2025, the official channel posted short videos introducing four Sentinels (Leviona, Betelgeuse, Ilon and Petra), the three beta classes (Swordsman, Ranger and Berserker), and systems: an "Item Enhancement System" video ("No breakage, no downgrade, just steady progression"), "Equipment crafting", and a character customization video titled "Character Customization: Sync level 100% - SangTae unlocked", in which the executive producer is recreated in the creator. By the channel's public feed, read on Oct 20, 2026, they are its newest uploads. The characters are on Sentinels and the classes on Classes.

Work-in-progress clips (2025 to 2026)

Since the beta, Chrono Studio has shown its changes in short clips instead of trailers: lighting and animation previews on X on Nov 11, 2025 (MassivelyOP), and clips inside Developer's Notes #3 (lighting, equipment rendering, hitboxes, the lock-on camera), #4 (camera and movement, jump landing, hit reactions, Guard Crush) and #5 (the Supporter System and Monster Equipment). Chrono Odyssey did not appear at gamescom 2026 (iNews24), and Kakao Games has no public booth at G-STAR 2026 (Insight). No new trailer has been announced, as of Oct 21, 2026.
